Who Are We?
We are a young, but experienced adventure racing team made up of Kiwi athletes, aiming to take on the world’s best teams at the GODZone Adventure Race 2017. After three years of strong performances at the GODZone Adventure Race, winning the much coveted U25 division and placing 8th, 6th and 6th overall, the team are this year forging a new path. Now a little older, and wiser the Next Generation are now the Go Generation!
This year Tim and Theo are joined by experienced racer and Go Team foundation member Emily Forne. Emily has completed all five chapters of the GODZone Adventure to date, most recently with all-women’s team, Seagate. Emily works in primary education at Shotover Primary School and lives for adventure in the Queenstown region with husband Chris.
Keeping the team youthful is Nick Hann. Nick is a world-class navigator and is presently completing his studies in Civil Engineering at the University of Canterbury. The GODZone Adventure will be Nick’s first foray into multi-day adventure racing and he can’t wait!

Tim Farrant is an endurance navigation athlete bringing leadership and experience to the team.

Theo Wordsworth
Theo is the team's new recruit. Although relatively new to the racing scene Theo has always loved adventure and has an active interest in ultra-running, biking long distances and is a dedicated member of the Temple Basin Ski Club. Recently, Theo has directed his passions towards competition and is really enjoying himself.

Emily Forne
Emily has completed every Godzone since inception and this year returns to the Go Generation after a brief sabatical with team Seagate. When not racing Emily is an active school teacher at Shotover Primary and forms a dynamic duo, the "Silly Billies" with husband Chris.

Nick Hann
Nick brings to the team an appetite for food, fun, and adventure that will rival most other teams combined. His background in orienteering, trail running and all-round outdoor adventuring means he has a lot of youthful energy and knowledge to share. Watch out for him when the nav gets tough and keep your food locked away!
